PC
PC (polycarbonate) is a clear material with very high impact resistance. It is often used in slatted swimming pool covers and LED diffusers.
Properties:
- Glossy
- Self-extinguishing
- Not UV-stable. This can be solved with a UV resistant top layer.
- Scratch-sensitive
- Not suited to NH4 settings (such as stables)
- Transparent base, so easy to stain
